Goldman Sachs to price leveraged notes tied to MSCI EAFE index

Madison, Wis., May 29 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price 0% leveraged notes linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are expected to have a tenor of 31 to 33 months.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times the index return, subject to a maximum settlement amount of $1,540 to $1,630 per $1,000 principal amount.
Investors will share in any losses.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
