Buffalo, N.Y., March 18 – GS Finance Corp. priced $1.29 million of 0% index-linked notes due March 5, 2029 linked to the performance of the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the return of the index is zero or positive, the payout at maturity will be the greater of par plus 61.2% and par plus the index return.
If the index falls by up to 15%, the payout will be par plus the absolute value of the return.
Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to the index’s decline from its initial level.
