Globo Comunicacao receives $371.86 million in tendered 2025, 2027 notes

Lexington, Ky., Jan. 13 – Globo Comunicacao e Participacoes SA announced the results of its tender offer to purchase for cash any and all of its $325 million 4.843% senior notes due 2025 (Cusip: 37957TAK7) and any and all of its $200 million 5 1/8% senior notes due 2027 (Cusip: 37959DAA2) which expired at 5 p.m. ET on Jan. 12.

According to a company press release, $226,942,000 of the 2025 notes and $144,913,000 of the 2027 notes were validly tendered before the deadline.

No notes were tendered pursuant to guaranteed delivery procedures.

Settlement is expected in same-day funds on Jan. 18.

As previously reported, the company will pay $1,047.50 plus interest for each $1,000 of the 2025 notes and $1,032.50 plus interest per each $1,000 of the 2027 notes.

The tender offers were conditioned upon the company completing one or more new debt financings.
