Global Capacity Holdco, affiliates, close $28.36 million asset sale

Charlotte, N. C., May 17 - Global Capacity Holdco, LLC, Pivotal Global Capacity, LLC and GC Pivotal, LLC closed the sale of substantially all assets of the debtors on May 16.

The court approved the sale on Jan. 26, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The final purchase price about $28.36 million.

The total debtor-in-possession payoff was about $10.7 million and the credit bid prepetition facility was $9 million.

Total cures and claims came to about $8.7 million.

Global Capacity is a Chicago-based telecommunications information and logistics company. The company filed for bankruptcy on July 23, 2010 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The Chapter 11 case number is 10-12302.
