Georgetown Capital wraps C$2.06 million private placement of stock

Offering's proceeds earmarked to acquire, explore Tanacross Property

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 23 - Georgetown Capital Corp. said it has completed a non-brokered private placement of stock. The deal raised C$2.06 million.

The company sold common shares at C$0.55 each, which is a 17.91% discount to the Feb. 22 closing share price of C$0.67.

Proceeds will fund the acquisition of the Tanacross Property, as well as the exploration program on the property, and provide general working capital.

Georgetown is a Vancouver, B.C.-based capital pool company.
