Bracewell & Giuliani adds 14 members from Vinson & Elkins as partners

Minneapolis, Dec. 13 - Bracewell & Giuliani LLP announced that 14 members of a public finance and related tax and municipal securities practice at Vinson & Elkins LLP will join the firm as partners in January, according to a press release.

Charles Almond, Cristy Edwards, Jonathan Kelly Frels, Steven Gerdes, R. Todd Greenwalt, and Barron Wallace will be in the Houston office.

Elizabeth Rippy Bowes, Glenn Opel (with a dual office in San Antonio) and Victoria Ozimek will be in Austin.

Ben Brooks III, Robert Collins, III, Jonathan Leatherberry, and George Rodriguez will be in Dallas.

Paul Maco will be in Washington, D.C.

"We are excited to be adding this group to Bracewell," Bracewell managing partner Mark Evans said in the release. "I personally have a tremendous amount of respect for them. They have long-standing relationships with many of our current Bracewell attorneys and we share a number of common clients. They will be outstanding additions to the firm," Evans added in the release.

Bracewell & Giuliani is a Houston-based law firm.
