Talisman hires Bakker to manage high-yield, distressed investments

Madison, Wis., Sept. 20 - Talisman Capital SA announced that Peter R. S. Bakker joined the firm as a partner, effective Sept. 1.

Bakker will oversee the high-yield and distressed portions of the firm's investment activity.

Bakker has over 25 years of investment management experience in credit-related strategies, including over eight years as a senior portfolio manager with Lazard Asset Management, where he was responsible for managing global high-yield portfolios.

He also spent over nine years at NatWest Markets, where he was senior vice president responsible for high-yield and distressed proprietary trading and research.

Talisman is a privately held money management firm based in Chexbres, Switzerland.
