Stone & Youngberg names Joanne Feld vice president of public finance

Knoxville, Tenn., April 14 - Stone & Youngberg LLC said Joanne Feld will join its public finance group as a vice president.

Feld will be based in New York, serving clients in the Northeast.

Feld has more than 14 years of municipal finance experience. She was previously a director in the public finance group at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., where she worked for eight years. Before that, she was the assistant treasurer for the New York City Municipal Water Finance Authority.

Feld has a bachelor's degree in political science and history from the University of Toronto, where she graduated with distinction, as well as a master's in public administration from Columbia University.

"Joanne brings a wealth of expertise and local market knowledge that will be invaluable to our team as we continue to build out our business in the Northeast," managing director and head of Stone & Youngberg's public finance group Steve Heaney said in a press release. "As we grow our nationwide public finance presence we are pleased to once again attract the industry's top talent."

Stone & Youngberg is a San Francisco financial services firm and an underwriter of California municipal bonds.
