EagleRock hires John Petrozzi as managing director

Houston, March 16 - EagleRock Capital Management, LLC said John W. Petrozzi, Jr. has joined the firm as managing director and will manage and trade high-yield and distressed debt.

In his new position Petrozzi will report to Nader Tavakoli.

For the past six years, Petrozzi was a senior member of the credit trading business at Goldman Sachs specializing in high-yield and distressed securities.

Before Goldman, Petrozzi was vice president focusing on trading high-yield and distressed securities at Merrill Lynch, an analyst in Merrill Lynch's proprietary distressed business and an investment banking financial analyst at Kidder Peabody.

EagleRock Capital Management has $250 million of assets under management.

EagleRock Capital Management was founded in 2001 by Tavakoli with the backing of Leucadia National Corp. Tavakoli previously managed portfolios of high yield, distressed and special situation equity investments at Odyssey Partners and Highbridge Capital.
