New Issue: GE Capital adds $50 million to five-year fixed-to-floating-rate notes

New York, Aug. 9 - General Electric Capital Corp. added $50 million to its issue of five-year fixed-to-floating-rate global medium term notes, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes have a fixed rate of 2.5% and priced at par to yield 2.5% from and including Aug. 11, 2010, up to but excluding Aug. 11, 2011.

After that date until maturity the notes have a floating rate of three-month Libor plus 75 basis points and a price of par.

The notes are non-callable.

Total issuance is $150 million, including the original $100 million traded on July 28. The notes were reopened on Aug. 4.

Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc. was the bookrunner.

The funding arm of General Electric Co. is based in Fairfield, Conn.
