S&P affirms Energy Partners

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed its B+ corporate credit rating on Energy Partners Ltd.

The outlook remains stable.

S&P said the ratings on Energy Partners reflect its participation in the volatile and cyclical exploration and production segment of the petroleum industry, a relatively short reserve life, and high finding and developing costs in its core areas of operations. These concerns are somewhat offset by an experienced management team and a consistent track record of replacing reserves.
