Eksportfinans plans issue of notes linked to S&P 500

New York, July 5 - Eksportfinans ASA said it plans to issue index+ notes linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are expected to mature 18 months after the issue date.

The securities are callable at 111% after one year.

The redemption amount will depend on the performance of the indexes on the determination date. Investors will receive par plus 110% of any index return.

Deutsche Bank Securities will be the agent.
