Eksportfinans plans Index+ notes linked to iShares Russell 2000

New York, May 8 - Eksportfinans ASA is planning a sale of Index+ notes linked to the iShares Russell 2000 index fund, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

At maturity, the notes will pay par plus the gain on the index plus 5%.

The maturity is expected to be 18 months.

After one year, the notes will be callable at 118% of par if the index fund trades at 118% of par or higher.

Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. will be agent for the sale.
