Moody’s changes DIA view to stable

Moody's Investors Service said it changed the outlook on Distribuidora Internacional de Alimentacion SA’s (DIA) Baa3 long-term issuer rating to stable from positive and affirmed this rating, as well as the provisional Baa3 medium-term note program rating and Baa3 instrument ratings.

"Our decision to change DIA's outlook to stable reflects our view that its Moody's-adjusted debt/EBITDA is unlikely to fall sustainably below the 3x threshold commensurate with a higher rating," Moody’s vice president, senior analyst Vincent Gusdorf said in a news release.

"However, DIA remains strongly positioned within the Baa3 category, as shown by its good recent performances."
