Former Delivery Agent seeks extension, awaits case conversion hearing

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, May 11 – DA Liquidating Corp., formerly Delivery Agent, Inc., requested a 60-day extension of its exclusive periods for filing and soliciting votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to a motion filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Specifically, the company wants to extend its exclusive plan-filing period through July 12 and the solicitation period through Aug. 11.

As previously reported, the purchaser of the company’s assets has asked the court to convert the Chapter 11 case to Chapter 7.

Because the current exclusive plan-filing period expires before the May 23 conversion hearing, the company said it believes the exclusive periods should be extended “to ensure that the debtors maintain exclusivity until the conversion hearing and a short period thereafter to allow for an orderly conversion or other disposition of these Chapter 11 cases.”

A hearing is scheduled for June 21.

Delivery Agent is a San Francisco-based entertainment content solutions company. The company filed bankruptcy on Oct. 13, 2016 under Chapter 11 case number 16-12051.
