Ukraine’s DTEK to restructure two note series; holder committee needed

By Susanna Moon

Chicago, Dec. 1 – DTEK Finance plc said it expects to restructure its 10 3/8% senior notes due April 28, 2018 and 7 7/8% senior notes due April 4, 2018.

DTEK Group plans to present a restructuring proposal to the noteholders in the first quarter of 2016, according to a company announcement.

To streamline the restructuring, DTEK said it is advising noteholders to form a committee to represent the interests of the wider noteholder group and to appoint financial advisers as a point of contact.

DTEK’s financial adviser is Rothschild (Arnaud Joubert / Francois Proust, +33 1 40 74 98 36 / +33 1 40 74 88 16, or Project.Genesis@Rothschild.com).

DTEK Finance is part of an energy group based in Donetsk, Ukraine.
