Dura still working to document exit financing; emergence expected later this week

By Jennifer Lanning Drey

Portland, Ore., June 25 - Dura Automotive Systems, Inc. is still working to complete the documentation for its exit financing facilities and now expects to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy by the end of the week, according to a source familiar with the case.

Dura has amended the deadline for emergence under its debtor-in-possession financing facility and remains in compliance with the facility, according to the source.

As previously reported, the deadline was originally June 20 but was extended to June 25 late last week.

Dura, a Rochester Hills, Mich.-based automotive parts maker, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 30, 2006. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-11202.
