By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Sept. 20 - Dura Automotive Systems, Inc. requested court approval of the $8.4 million sale of its Jacksonville, Fla., industrial property to DSN Holdings, Inc., according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Dura said it plans to move the production at the Jacksonville facility to other facilities, including its facility in Matamoros, Mexico.

Dura will lease the Jacksonville facility from DSN for nine months at a price of $3.50 per square foot per year.

DSN will pay a $100,000 deposit toward the purchase price.

A hearing is scheduled for Oct. 9.

Dura, a Rochester Hills, Mich.-based automotive parts maker, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 30, 2006. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-11202.
