Dune Energy extends loan waiver of change-of-control covenant breach

By Sara Rosenberg

New York, June 5 - Dune Energy Inc. extended a waiver under its senior credit facility regarding non-compliance with the change-of-control covenant, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday.

The extension was obtained on June 3, and the waiver is now in effect until July 1 as opposed to June 9.

The company also said that it is in discussions with its senior lender regarding an amendment to the credit facility that would change the definition of change of control, increase the size of the commitment and extend the maturity.

Dune Energy is a Houston-based energy company.
