Morgan Stanley plans protected notes with cap tied to DJ-UBS commodity

Chicago, Nov. 1 - Morgan Stanley plans to price 0% commodity-linked notes due December 2020 linked to the Dow Jones - UBS Commodity index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain, up to a maximum return of $2,000 per $1,000 principal amount.
If the index falls, the payout will be par.
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.
The notes will price in November and settle three days later in December.
The Cusip number is 61762GAN4.
