Citigroup plans seven-year notes tied to Dow Jones Industrial Average

Tacoma, Wash., Dec. 1 - Citigroup Funding Inc. plans to price 0% market-linked notes due Dec. 27, 2017 linked to the Dow Jones Industrial Average, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 100% to 105% of any increase in the index. If the index declines, the payout will be par. The exact participation rate will be set at pricing.

The notes (Cusip 1730T0LF4) are expected to price Dec. 27 and settle Dec. 30.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
