Chicago, July 17 - UBS AG priced $3.26 million of 10.75% yield optimization notes with contingent protection due Jan. 22, 2010 linked to Dow Chemical Co., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
UBS Financial Services Inc. and UBS Investment Bank are the underwriters.
Interest will be payable monthly.
The face amount of each note will be $16.55, or the closing price of one Dow Chemical share at pricing.
The payout will be par unless Dow Chemical stock falls below 60% of the initial price, in which case investors will receive one share per note.
