DoubleLine details new Low Duration Emerging Markets Fixed Income Fund

By Toni Weeks

San Luis Obispo, Calif., April 4 - DoubleLine Funds gave details of its DoubleLine Low Duration Emerging Markets Fixed Income Fund in an N-1A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The fund seeks long-term total return by investing primarily in debt obligations issued by sovereign, quasi-sovereign and private emerging market issuers and will normally invest in at least three emerging market countries. The fund may invest without limit in investments of any currency but expects to invest substantially in dollar-denominated investments. It may invest in obligations of any credit quality. Though the adviser may invest in securities of any maturity or duration, it will normally seek to provide an investment portfolio with a dollar-weighted average effective duration of three years or less.

Mark W. Christensen, Su Fei Koo and Luz M. Padilla are the portfolio managers.

The fund offers class I and class N shares. Ticker symbols are "DBLLX" and "DELNX," respectively.

There are no shareholder fees. Including management fees of 0.5% and taking into account the effects of a fee waiver and reimbursement agreement, total annual fund operating expenses are expected to be 0.6%.

Los Angeles-based DoubleLine Capital LP is the investment adviser to the fund.
