Kazakhstan's Doszhan pays remaining fine on overdue coupon for bonds

Madison, Wis., Aug. 19 - JSC Doszhan Temir Zholy paid an KZT 8.1 million fine on Aug. 14 for the fourth coupon period to holders of its KZT 30 billion of debentures due Aug. 2, 2028, according to a company letter delivered to the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange on Monday.

The company has been paying fines for the overdue fourth coupon since September 2010. The fines have amounted to KZT 314.08 million.

The penalty has now been paid in full, according to the letter.

Doszhan Temir Zholy constructs and operates railway lines and is based in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
