New Issue: China's Dongfeng Motor sells RMB 2 billion one-year bond tranche at 98.31

Chicago, June 16 - Dongfeng Motor Group Co. Ltd. issued RMB 2 billion in the first tranche of short-term debentures at 98.31.

The company sold the bonds to institutional investors in the inter-bank debenture market.

The bonds will mature in 365 days.

Shareholders approved the issue at the 2007 annual meeting.

On Dec. 14, the company priced RMB 1.9 billion of short-term debentures at 96.52. The securities mature in 365 days.

Dongfeng is a Hubei, China-based car maker.
