Fitch affirms Dominion

Fitch Ratings said it has affirmed the ratings of Dominion Resources, Inc. and its regulated utility subsidiary, Virginia Electric Power Co.

The outlooks are stable.

The agency said that the ratings of Dominion are supported by cash flows from a large diverse subsidiary asset base, including an integrated electric utility, two gas distribution companies, pipeline transmission & distribution operations, natural gas gathering & processing assets and a merchant generation fleet.
