Doman sets June 28 as record date for creditors who will receive warrants

Washington, June 30 - Doman Industries Ltd. fixed Monday as the day of record for creditors who will receive class A and class B warrants under the company's reorganization plan.

The warrants can be exercised until July 19.

In addition, the Duncan, B.C.-based forest products company also changed the name of its new Lumberco, which under the plan acquired all of Doman's lumber assets, to Western Forest Products Inc.

Doman filed for protection under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act on Nov. 7, 2002.
