Tacoma, Wash., March 25 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $3.37 million of 0% notes due April 8, 2015 linked to an equally weighted basket of the Dollar-Adjusted MSCI Italy SMID Cap index and the Dollar-Adjusted MSCI Spain SMID Cap index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
For each index, the initial level is equal to that index's official closing level on the pricing date multiplied by 1.3794, the initial spot rate.
For each index, the final level will be the average of the amounts on each averaging date determined by multipliying that index's closing level on that day by the spot rate on that day. The averaging dates are the five trading days ending April 2, 2015.
For each $1,000 principal amount of notes, the payout at maturity will be $1,000 multiplied by (a) one plus the basket return multiplied by (c) 100.23%. The notes are not principal protected, so that payout can be less than par.
