Moody's lifts Dollar Financial view to positive

Moody's Investors Service said it changed the outlook on Dollar Financial Group, Inc.'s B3 senior unsecured debt and corporate family ratings to positive from stable.

The agency said its outlook change is in response to Dollar's recent $77 million common equity issuance, which is expected to be used to repay $70 million of Dollar's 9 ¾% senior notes due 2011.

Moody's said it views the expected improvements in the following financial metrics as positive to the rating: interest coverage (EBIT to interest expense), free cash flow to adjusted debt (adjusted debt includes capitalized lease obligations) and adjusted debt to EBITDA.
