Discovery Communications eyeing sale of senior notes

New York, March 8 – Discovery Communications LLC is in Tuesday’s market with an offering of senior notes guaranteed by Discovery Communications, Inc., according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

There is a change-of-control put at 101%.

BofA Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Mizuho Securities and RBC Capital Markets LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The global media company is based in Silver Spring, Md.
