S&P rates DirecTV notes BBB

Standard & Poor's said it assigned BBB ratings to DirecTV Holdings LLC's and DirecTV Financing Co. Inc.'s proposed senior unsecured notes.

Although the company did not disclose the size of the offering, the agency said it believes adjusted leverage pro forma for the transaction is likely to be within the 2.5x leverage target considered appropriate for the rating.
