Digital Realty files automatic shelf that includes stock, warrants

Knoxville, Tenn., May 1 - Digital Realty Trust Inc. filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common stock, preferred stock, depositary shares and warrants. Preferred stock may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be contributed to Digital Realty's operating partnership to acquire or develop additional properties or for general corporate purposes, according to the filing.

Digital Realty is a real estate investment trust based in San Francisco.
