Fitch changes Devon Energy to negative

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Devon Energy Corp.'s long-term issuer default rating at BBB+ and revised the outlook to negative from stable.

The negative outlook reflects the downward revision of Fitch's oil & gas price assumptions on Feb. 24 and its impact on Devon's forecasted credit metrics, asset sale and gross debt reduction execution risk, and operational momentum loss concerns.
