Concord, N.H., Jan. 18 – Deutsche Lufthansa AG notified holders of €500 million of subordinated notes (ISIN: XS1271836600) that it is going to defer the interest payment falling due on Feb. 12 that covers the period from Feb. 12, 2021 to Feb. 12, 2022, according to a company announcement.

The deferral is in accordance with the terms and conditions of the notes, and the issuer intends to make up the deferred coupon payments as soon as possible once the respective restrictions from the stabilization by the German Economic Stabilization Fund have been lifted.
