Deutsche Bank Securities to launch emerging markets prime brokerage

Seattle, May 21 - Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. announced that Luciana Miranda will join the company as a managing director in the fixed-income prime brokerage group within the global markets division.

In this role, Miranda will establish and manage the fixed-income emerging markets prime brokerage offering, which will be a key element of the fixed-income prime brokerage business, according to a company news release.

She will be based in New York and will report to Mel Gunewardena, managing director and global head of the fixed-income prime brokerage business.

Miranda joins Deutsche Bank Securities after working for 14 years at Goldman Sachs, most recently as managing director in the emerging markets trading and sales division. In that capacity, she helped develop Goldman Sach's emerging markets prime brokerage business, according to the release.

Miranda earned a Master of Business Administration from London Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Fundacao Getulio Vergas in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
