Deutsche Bank cross-lists six PowerShares DB ETNs on Toronto Stock Exchange

By Jennifer Chiou

New York, Dec. 18 - Deutsche Bank, working with Invesco PowerShares Capital Management LLC and Invesco Trimark Ltd., announced the cross-listing of six exchange-traded notes linked to the performance of gold, crude oil and agriculture commodities.

These ETNs, which trade in the United States on the NYSE Arca, and are now also available on the Toronto Stock Exchange, trading in Canadian dollars, according to a news release.

Deutsche Bank noted that the PowerShares DB ETNs provide investors with a cost-effective and convenient way to take a leveraged long or leveraged short view of the performance of some prominent commodities.

Invesco Trimark will market in Canada each of the six PowerShares DB ETNs.

Affected ETNs include the PowerShares DB Gold Double Long (Toronto: DGU), PowerShares DB Gold Double Short (Toronto: DGJ), PowerShares DB Agriculture Double Long (Toronto: DAA), PowerShares DB Agriculture Double Short (Toronto: DAD), PowerShares DB Crude Oil Double Long (Toronto: DOU) and PowerShares DB Crude Oil Double Short (Toronto: DOE).
