Deutsche Bank to price issue of trust preferred securities mid-week at $25 each

Omaha, Feb. 11 - Deutsche Bank Contingent Capital Trust III plans to price an issue of trust preferred securities, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission Monday.

The non-callable securities will be priced at $25 each.

The offering will price Wednesday at the earliest, a source close to the deal said.

Bookrunners are Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. and Wachovia Capital Securities LLC.

Co-managers are Banc of America Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc. and UBS Investment Bank.

Proceeds will be used to purchase the initial obligation.

The arm of the German investment bank is based in Frankfurt.
