Destination Maternity posts $106,000 of income for March 1-April 4

Pittsburgh, May 5 – Destination Maternity Corp. reported $106,000 of operating income for the period of March 1 through April 4 on $13.23 million in net sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

In comparison, Destination Maternity posted a $5.9 million operating loss for the period of Feb. 2 through Feb. 29 on $8.29 million in net sales.

Net income for the March period was $98,000, improving from a $5.94 million February net loss.

In addition, the company listed $5.92 million in cash and cash equivalents as of April 4, down from $14.33 million at Feb. 29.

Destination Maternity is a clothing retailer based in Moorestown, N.J. The company filed bankruptcy on Oct. 21, 2019 under Chapter 11 case number 19-12256.
