Prospect News reports two new defaults for week of Sept. 19-Sept. 25

Pittsburgh, Sept. 27 - Prospect News reported two new defaults for the week of Sept. 19 to Sept. 25 in the form of Dannemora Mineral AB's missed interest payment on its 11.75% senior secured bonds due 2016 and Perwaja Steel Sdn. Bhd. (Perwaja Holdings Bhd.)'s missed principal and interest payment on its Murabahah medium-term notes.

Prospect News also reported Desarrolladora Homex, SAB de CV's missed interest payment on its 9¾% senior guaranteed notes due March 25, 2020 and Lone Pine Resources Inc.'s Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act and Chapter 15 bankruptcy filings.

However, Desarrolladora Homex previously defaulted in connection with a June 11 missed interest payment, and Lone Pine previously defaulted in connection with an Aug. 15 missed interest payment.

Prospect News has reported 105 defaults so far in 2013, including 55 Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings, 19 missed interest payments, six each of Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings and missed principal and interest payments, four distressed exchanges, three Chapter 15 bankruptcy filings, two each of involuntary Chapter 11 filings and bankruptcy proceedings and one each of missed principal payments, Chapter 9 bankruptcy filings, insolvencies, administrations, missed interest payments paid late, Schutzschirmverfahren, CCAA filings and recapitalizations.
