California Public Works calls $146.25 million of 2005J prison bonds

Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 30 – The California State Public Works Board plans to redeem $146.25 million of its 5% series 2005J lease revenue refunding bonds issued for the Department of Corrections, the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and the State Prison at Corcoran, according to a notice.

The following bonds, which were issued Nov. 1, 2005, will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Jan. 1:

• $26.47 million of bonds due Jan. 1, 2017;

• $27.79 million of bonds due Jan. 1, 2018;

• $29.18 million of bonds due Jan. 1, 2019;

• $30.64 million of bonds due Jan. 1, 2020; and

• $32.17 million of bonds due Jan. 1, 2021.

The Treasurer of the State of California is the trustee.
