Delta Mills gets two-week extension to exclusive vote solicitation period

Pittsburgh, May 17 - Delta Mills, Inc. obtained an extension to its exclusive period to solicit votes on its plan of liquidation, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New York.
The company's exclusive solicitation period was extended to July 2 from June 18.
Delta Mills filed the plan on April 30, which was the exclusive plan-filing deadline.
Delta Mills is the operating subsidiary of Delta Woodside, Inc., a Greenville, S.C.-based company that manufactures and sells textile products for the apparel industry. Delta Mills filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 13, 2006. The Chapter 11 case number is 06-11144.
