Del Monte shareholder Atlantic Investment discusses shareholder value with management

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 15 - Del Monte Foods Co. investor Atlantic Investment Management Inc. said it will continue to discuss ways to maximize shareholder value with the company's management, it was reported in a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Atlantic Investment beneficially owns approximately 8.78 million, or 4.4%, of the San Francisco-based food company.
