By Ashley Montgomery

Kansas City, Kan., July 10 - Delaware Investments has expanded the capabilities of its fixed-income team with several changes to employee responsibilities, according to a news release.

Mansaur Rasul has returned to the firm as head of emerging markets credit trading, the release said. Rasul was previously an analyst at Delaware from 2004 to 2007.

The firm said it also promoted or expanded the responsibilities of Kashif Ishaq, Gregory Gizzi, David Hillmeyer and Brian McDonnell.

Ishaq, who has been a trader for investment-grade corporate bonds since 2005, will be head of investment-grade corporate bond trading.

Gizzi has been promoted to senior vice president of Delaware's fixed-income team. He is also co-portfolio manager of institutional convertibles strategy, co-portfolio manager on municipal closed-end funds and head of convertible bond and municipal bond trading.

Hillmeyer, in addition to his role as a senior portfolio manager with primary responsibility for portfolio construction and asset allocation of diversified floating-rate strategies, joins the management team for Delaware Core Plus Bond Fund.

McDonnell, who currently works as a portfolio manager and senior structured products analyst, will also be a senior vice president on the firm's taxable fixed-income portfolio management group.

Delaware Investments, a member of Macquarie Group, is a diversified asset management firm based in Philadelphia.
