Quercus buys more shares of DayStar

Charlotte, N.C., Nov. 5 - The Quercus Trust bought 2.35 million shares of DayStar Technologies, Inc. stock on Oct. 29 priced at $4.25 each, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

As a result of the purchase, Quercus increased its stake in DayStar to 12.4% from 11.1%.

Quercus owns 4,031,025 shares of the Halfmoon, N.Y., photovoltaic products company.
