DaVita intends to price $1 billion 10-year senior notes on Tuesday

Portland, Ore., Aug. 13 - DaVita Inc. plans to price a $1 billion offering of 10-year senior notes on Tuesday, according to syndicate sources.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Barclays, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Goldman Sachs & Co., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC are the joint bookrunners for the notes offering, which has been registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Credit Agricole Securities (USA) Inc., Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (USA), Inc., Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. and SMBC Nikko Capital Markets Ltd. are the co-managers.

The notes come with five years of call protection.

Proceeds, together with amended credit facilities and available cash, will be used to finance the acquisition of HealthCare Partners Holdings, LLC.

DaVita is a Denver-based provider of kidney care services.
