David’s Bridal pre-packaged plan accepted by most voting creditors

Pittsburgh, Dec. 28 – David’s Bridal, Inc.’s pre-packaged plan of reorganization was accepted by a majority of voting creditors, including unanimous approval by one of two voting classes, according to a notice filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Specifically, the plan was accepted by all 117 holders of $463.42 million in pre-bankruptcy term loan claims.

In addition, the plan was accepted by 59 holders, or 96.72% in number, of $236.34 million, or 99.16% in amount, of unsecured notes claims and rejected by two holders, or 3.28% in number, of $2 million, or 0.84% in amount, of those claims.

The plan confirmation hearing is scheduled for Jan. 4.

David’s Bridal, a Conshohocken, Pa.-based bridal retailer, filed bankruptcy on Nov. 19. The Chapter 11 case number is 18-12635.
