Moody's: Datatel unchanged

Moody's Investors Service said that Datatel, Inc.'s B2 corporate family rating and the ratings for its existing credit facilities are not affected by Hellman & Friedman LLC's plans to acquire SunGard's higher education business and combine it with Datatel under a new holding company.

The company expects to refinance all outstanding borrowings under its existing first- and second-lien senior secured credit facilities at the close of the transaction, the agency said.
