S&P ups Danske Bank

S&P said it raised Danske Bank AS’ issuer credit and senior debt ratings by one notch to A+ from A, but affirmed the ratings on the bank's hybrid instruments and removed all ratings from under criteria observation.

The upgrade and affirmations follow a revision to methodologies for rating banks and nonbank financial institutions and for determining a banking industry country risk assessment on Dec. 9, S&P said.

The outlook is negative.
