S&P rates Danaher program A-1

Standard & Poor's said it assigned its A-1 short-term rating to Danaher Corp.'s commercial paper program as well as an A-1 rating to Danaher European Finance SA euro-commercial paper program, unconditionally guaranteed by Danaher.

At the same time, S&P said it affirmed its A+ corporate credit and senior unsecured ratings on the company.

The outlook is stable.

S&P said the ratings on Danaher reflect the firm's excellent business risk profile, modest financial risk profile and ample liquidity, offset to some extent by its somewhat aggressive business objectives and moderately conservative financial policies.
