DaimlerChrysler Mexico to sell Ps. 770 million certificados bursatiles in three tranches

New York, Sept. 27 - DaimlerChrysler Mexico Holding SA de CV said it plans to sell a total of Ps. 770 million of short-term certificados bursatiles in three tranches on Wednesday via an auction.

The issuer plans to sell Ps. 550 million of 28-day certificados bursatiles (/mxA 1+/F1+(mex). The maturity is Oct. 27, 2005.

The second tranche is Ps. 150 million of 112-day certificados bursatiles (/mxA-1+/F1+(mex). The maturity date is Jan. 19, 2006.

And the third tranche is Ps. 50 million of 367-day certificados bursatile (/mxA-1+/F1+(mex). The maturity date is Sept. 21, 2006.

Scotia Inverlat Casa de Bolsa SA de CV is the auction agent for all three transactions.

The settlement date is Sept. 29. The 28-day certificates are issue number 80-2005 in DaimlerChryler's certificados bursatiles program, the 112-day certificates are issue 81-2005 and the 357-day certificates are issue 82-2005.

The issuer, based in Mexico City, is the financial arm for DaimlerChrysler.
